So I got my blog up....again!
I know you're probably thinking "again?" and I should clarify some things. I am by no means an expert at blogging. The think is that I have had a blog before: it was required for my Film Media and Television Studies course I took while abroad in Auckland, New Zealand during the Fall 09. For that course, it required sporadically posting throughout the semester about different current issues that related back to the lessons that we were taught in class. For this class, it was basically just posting homework assignments on the blog so that our professor could see all of them together. I think that he wanted us, as students, to look at other peoples' stories, but this didn't happen. I was abroad. I wasn't too focused on reading my peers homework assignments as I was focused on exploring a different part of the country.
So I have clarified that even though I have "blogged" before, I haven't actually used blogs for the purpose in which I intend to use them over the course of this blog. For this blog, I don't want it to be the same. I want to share what's going on in my life during my senior year before graduation. It's a very turbulent, exciting, and worrisome time that I only get to experience once. I want to talk about current issues yes, but also my life as an English and Writing student. So here we go, this is the start of my blog. Let's go!
